Human Tetris

When I was in Elementary at a young age, I like to play video games. My uncle introduced me to Atari during those times and then at my teenage years my father introduced to me Nintedo games. Then when I was in college, the very first Play Station machine was introduced to me by my friends which I very much enjoyed playing because of the enhanced graphics compared to Atari and Nintendo games. I really enjoyed playing video games including Tamagochi =)

But I can only play these video games when I am at home and no schoolwork(homework) and of course it is not a school day. Weekends I can play the video games that I like, however, what if I would be going out or the TV set is being used by my siblings or parents. Then I cannot play the video games that I like. So I discovered Tetris. A pocket video game that I can bring wherever I go. Here is the game Tetris that I used to play just to give you an idea. It's a bit long but just to give you an idea.

Isn't it amazing where your mind would work to think and organize your thoughts to decrease the blocks in order for you not to be gamed over. What a game huh!

Now do you know that Japanese has another way of playing Tetris? Yeah, they do have another way of playing Tetris. It looks weird though but it's funny. Check this one...

Did you enjoyed that? :-D

Evolution of Mobile Phones

Communication is very much used to whatever country we belong and whatever language we use. Also there are different kinds, types and forms when communicating. Some of us in order to communicate with another country, tries to learn the language to remove the communication barrier and better communicate with one another. We use snail mail, email, instant messages, chat, blogs to communicate. But what I think is being used by many either they are in the lower class, middle class or upper class in ways of communicating is a Mobile Phone or Cellular phone.

There was one time that I thank the inventor of the mobile phone because it helped me a lot in my daily activity. It is easy for me to reach a love one, friend or co-worker just by using a Mobile Phone. Hassle free too because you do not need to see the person that you need to communicate to immediately, you just need to send him/her an SMS (text message) or just by calling him/her directly. What a convenient way to communicate huh. Every year new mobile phones are being released and being bought by many. But did you think about how the oldest mobile phone looks like? The younger generations today only know the mobile phone that already have a camera on it and you can download files and music using a mobile phone. Just to give you an overview of how the mobile phone looked like, see this video about "The Evolution of Mobile Phones".

Isn't it amazing how Mobile Phones changes every year?

The comedian and actress....other side of Miss Giselle Sanchez...

I think almost everyone knows Giselle Sanchez, "the" Giselle Sanchez that we see on our TV screens especially on the TV shows of SST and Kwarta O Kahon (I think I saw her there, correct me Miss Giselle if I'm wrong), Movie theaters (the latest one is the Manay Po 2), and now her new TV Commercial about a detergent soap. But do you know that she also writes her own blog? That I know you don't know =)

Yesterday, while daydreaming and waiting for my workload, a co-worker of mine sent a link via e-mail and I clicked on the link and came up on the page the title "G-Spot>> Ang mamatay ng dahil sa... OFWs!" Ngek! I said to myself "what is this?". So I read on the blog and looked at the photos on the blog and saw that it is Miss Giselle. I finished reading the blog and I feel relaxed because of the story (read it for you to see). Then I begun thinking, is this really Miss Giselle Sanchez's writing and story or just another hoax pretending to be Miss Giselle? So I read on the other Featured Articles on the blog and got to know Miss Giselle. Yep, I am one of the many fans of Miss Giselle not only me but also my Family.

I like to share Miss Giselle's blog and knowing that she is one of the best comedian and actress in our country, I want you to feel relaxed, get to know Miss Giselle and be happy. So what are you waiting for start reading her blog. Just click on her link located on my B L O G G E R S column right pane of this page. Enjoy! =)

If wish to know more about Miss Giselle, you can also catch her at this site:

mOtIvAtIoN.... do you have it?

A friend of mine is a blogger here and I have read some of his blogs that motivated me to create and write my own blog. At first I was hesitant to create a blog, my very own blog and my friend said try it and it would be your own world. I said WOW! my very own. To cut the story short, here is my blog now.

Many or some of us are afraid to try new things in life because of the possibility of failure or getting negative feedback from other people. Me too, sometimes I am afraid to try new things in my life but if I really wanted to try it or someone or something motivates me to do it, I'll find time to pursue it.

There is so much to do and many things that we can do but at this point in time with all the crisis and nature problem that we are encountering, many are busy to cope up with the crisis by working hard and making sure that everything will be fine. Some already forgets how to mingle, socialize and relax. Family first, that is what I think in these times of crisis. It is only now that I feel the crisis in this country and no wonder many would like to work abroad. Me too if given a chance because it is not only for me but for my family. That is the motivation for me to work everyday. To get up and fix myself and be ready to get to work.. my Family. I think most of the people thinks of their family first. Especially in a Filipino setting, family first is what most of my kababayan or countrymen thinks first.

What is Motivation? According to Mr. Webster, it means the act or process of motivating, the condition of being motivated, a motivating force, stimulus, or influence.

Is there such thing as good and bad motivation? For me a good motivation is applying your effort towards doing good to yourself, family, friends and people around you. Taking your time and effort to doing good and the outcome is to benefit yourself and people around you. Benefit in a form of feeling good about yourself but not the benefit of getting favors or material things. Of course, bad motivation is doing things that would outcome negative things or not acceptable to the society. Why are there some people takes time and effort to do things that are not acceptable? Is it because they are the only one that would benefit on that effort? Sad to say, but that's what it looks like.

But why do things that will only benefit you and why not do things that would benefit the many people? If you are still thinking why, just look around you and what is happening around you. What is happening now in this crisis is because in the past, people intend to do things that will only benefit them and not looking towards the benefit of the many people in the future. If we will not motivate ourselves or motivate others in giving importance with water, electricity and food, then in the coming year of 2024, it might be true that all water, electricity and food resources will be lost. We must motivate ourselves and others to use them appropriately.

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's day to all the Mommy's out there!

Have you thought about what gift you will give to your mother?
Well... I have thought about what to give to my Mom that I know she can use through the years... a Toaster! Dyaran! We are not a well off family that is why we do not have a toaster at home. When we would like to toast our bread, I simply get a frying pan that is not concave and put it on the stove and turn the fire on at low heat. Let the pan heat a bit and then put in the bread that I wish to toast and cover the pan. Wait for about 1 minute and turn off the heat. After 2 minutes of heating the bread, you can put butter or strawberry jelly on top of it or both! Yummy! Instant French Toasted bread. That's how we basically toast bread at home.

Basically, what you give as a gift to any occasion is what the receiver can use for a lifetime. Just a thought on that one. Also, it is not important that you give something expensive as long as it comes from your heart or you can be creative on the gift that you will give, that is already enough.
